Updated 25th September

FIATTE. Following yesterdays' news of Christophe Fiattes' reutn to Red Star, upon following up on the rumour, our sources have some doubts as to the authenticity of the claims.... more to follow....
COUPE DE FRANCE (4th round) Red Star have an away trip to the Essonne, to play Igny, a club which play in the Excellence division, and who beat the Cheminots de l'Ouest 3-0 in the last round. Elsewhere, the mighty Montigny have a tough game ahead against DSR outfit Fontainebleau.
PRUD'HOMMES. Several Red Star players from last season have gone to the Prud'hommes, an industrial tribunal in order to try and get back what they are owed in wages from last season. With no money in the coffers, the future of the club looks very bleak indeed.

BACK TO BAUER - GREEN LIGHT FOR THE GREENS

Yesterday, the Security Commission of the FFF paid an inspection visit to Red Stars' mythical home at Saint-Ouen, and gave the green light for the club to "come home". The stadium is good enough and meets the requirements up to the level of the National (D3). Two stands will be open to the public; the "New" stand behind the goal and the "Main" stand, which runs alongside the pitch and contains the Directors' box and the press box. Good news for the loyal fans, as this stand is in three sections, the middle section reserved for the VIPS. Tradidtionally, at half time the Red Star fans moved from one end of the stand to the other, depending upon which way their team was attacking. Right up to the very last minute, the workment were frantically putting the finishing touches to the renovations - a huge "Merci" to them !
First match back "home" will be the local derby on October 12th against Aubervilliers. Hopefully Red Star, despite the poor situation in which they are in, will have increased support, from the fans who never come to Marville (point of principal or just lack to accessibility). AllezRedStar !!

REACTIONS. Already Red Star fans have written to us, expressing their joy at the good news ... Julien says, "When I checked the site www.allezredstar.com yesterday evening at 6 o'clock, I couldn't believe my eyes, finally Red Star are back at Bauer, it's great news. I'm glad to see my club back in Saint-Ouen. Results haven't been great, but at least at Bauer, we're back home and I can't wait for October 12th - AllezRedStar !!!.
A typical reaction, and echos the feelings of the supporters from all over the world. Don't forget, you saw it FIRST here at www.allezredstar.com. Another EXCLUSIVE SCOOP FOR OUR SITE. WE GIVE YOU THE NEWS, THE OTHERS MERELY COPY !!!

ALSO THIS WEEKEND. The senior teams have a break this weekend, Coupe de France obliging, but the under 16s are at home to Troyes, whilst the under 18S are at home to Racing. The latter play host to Red Stars' under 15s, whereas the under 13s welcome ACBB.
LAURENT STILL IN THERE. From 10 000 hopefuls at the start, only forty remain in M6s' Popstars, including ex-Red Star man Laurent Delanoue. The survivors embark on a dance workshop in the Parisian suburbs - our Laurent has been allocated as room mate a very effeminate Brazilian Leandro, who is always bursting into tears at the slightest thing. More next Thursday, and we'll keep you up to date with Laurents' progress.

NEXT WEEK-END. No competitive game for Red Star, they have been blessed with a bye in the Coupe de France. A friendly match might be arranged, however, before the following weekends' short trip to play Créteil reserves, fresh from two straight wins after an indifferent start. The improvement might be down to first team coach Noël Tosi taking over the commands of the reserves.
BUT WHERE IS MOUSSA ?. Stephen, a supporter of Bristol Rovers in the UK writes to ask us if anyone has the whereabouts of Moussa Dagnogo, Red Star player from last seasons' CFA campaign and former Gashead. If anyone knows where the player is, please write in and let us know ! Stephen is the author of two books about the club which once played at Eastville.

RED STAR ON THE BRINK. Could the home defeat on Saturday at Marville to Ivery be Red Stars' last ever match ? Talk on the terraces was of liquidation of the club, probably within the next ten days. Given the pitiful performance and the even more pitiful turn out, then talk of the grand return to Stade Bauer appears to be a little far-fetched.
Morale at the club must be at an all-time low; the players are allegedly not being paid for playing; last seasons' players are owed money, it appears, with little or no chance of recovering what they are owed; when pressed the club merely states that the coffers are empty. The club smacks of neglect, no-one apart from the hundred or so loyal fans appears to give a monkeys. For a once-proud club which once won the French Cup three seasons in succession, and which in recent years has produced players such as Steve Marlet, this is dreadful.
Bras doesn't appear to give two hoots - let's face it, he just doesn't appear full stop. He is notable merely for his absence at home games.
ECHOS. For once, spectators at the game had the team line-ups; Mr Speaker took up his place in the PA booth to give out the team line-ups but that was all - no other announcements at half time or for the goals or the substitutions. No scoreboard, either - at the end of the game the score still read 0-0.
RESERVES LOSE. Red Star reserves went down 1-2 (0-2) at home to Bobigny, the goal being scored by Priso-Yayo (67). Elsewhere, the under-Nous reviendrons mardi sur cette qs game at the INF was called off.

LATEST NEWS. Saturdays' derby against Ivry could be the last Red Star game at Marville - if the Security Commission gives the green light for Red Star to move back to Bauer that is. We'll actually believe it when we've got our feet planted on the terraces at Saint-Ouen - so much has been promised to us in recent years, and so little has been delivered....
SOME PRECISIONS. One of our correspondants reports that the coach of our reserve team is in fact Djamel BADOUD, and it was him on the bench for the home game against Auxerre whilst coach Ousfane, suspended watched the game from the stand opposite in the company of Kamel BOUSSELIOU. The latter is not assistant coach to Ousfane, but his job is goalkeeping coach to the Under 14s, 16s, 18s as well as the reserves.
BOUSSELIOU at first was proposed the post of reserve team coach, but declined, preferring to concentrate on the goalkeeping side of matters.
ALSO THIS WEEKEND
The under 16 ans have a trip to Clairefontaine for the game INF – Red Star.
Under 14s : Red Star - Laon
Under 15s (DH) : Red Star – Centre Formation
Under 18s (DH) : ACBB – Red Star
GUY ROUX. Guy Roux, Auxerre coach has equalled Kader Firouds' record of 782 matches as coahc of a D1 club. Whereas Firoud achieved the feat with three clubs, Roux has stayed loyal to Auxerre, missing only one season, 2000-2001 since 1961.

LAURENT DELANOUE. In M6s' Popstars last night, former Red Star defender Delanoue appeared to pass one casting, but appears to have missed out on a second selection later on in the show... more to follow when we have details.

Updated 9th September

ALL CHANGE. For the second away trip of the season, coach Mustapha Ousfane made one important change, that being the promotion of his assitant coach Kamel Bousseliou (pictured) to goalkeeper, replaing the previous incumbent Frédéric Néret.

DIVISION HONNEUR. Red Star, watched by former player Morad El Othmani, currently with Viry-Châtillon (National) went down 1-2 at Sainte-Geneviève-des-Bois. At half-time Red Star were leading 1-0. Other scores : Brétigny – Paris FC 0-3, Racing - Arménienne 1-0, Paris SG – Le Mée 2-4, Bobigny – Villemomble 0-0, Cosmo Ermont-Taverny – Evry 3-1.
UNDER 18s. Good win for Red Stars' youngsters, winning 5-0 at home.

Updated 6th September

RACING SAVED. First division outfit FC Nantes have concluded a deal with Red Stars' local rivals Racing, now languishing in the CFA following enforced relegation from the National. Press reports state that after an unsuccessful approach to Red Star, the Canaries have thrown their hat in with the club from the Hauts-de-Seine.
Yet anothe good opportunity passes by Red Star - do the clubs' directors really want to let go of their grip on power ? The Collectif des supporters du Red Star sent a letter to both the COunty COuncil and the local council, to demand an audit of the finances of Red Star, bearing in mind that the club are spending the taxpayers' money. The councils do have the right to know how and where the money is being spent. Above all by a board which has led the club from the gates of Division One to the CFA 2.
SOME GOOD NEWS. Although not normally the type of TV programme watched by the AllezRedStar.com team, Popstars last night was the highlight of the evenings' entertainment, featuring former Red Star man Laurent Delanoue.
Laurent was featured in the programme - the aim of this weeks' show was holding auditions to whittle down the number of remaining contestants. He was interviewed by a panel of three, who asked him questions about work etc. LD stated that he was a professional footballer currently unemployed - he said that he had played at a high level, but had been through a bad spell of injuries. When pressed he gave the name Red Star. He went on to sing (without music) a song in English, but appeared very nervous. Luckily he got a second bite of the apple, and sang in French, better & more relaxed. Finally he was given a ticket to progress to the next round.
We will follow Laurents' progress with interest on the site. Good luck to him - he appears to be a nice guy.
