LE MEE IN DOUBT The snow continues to fall on Paris, and as a result there are doubts as to whether or not the match at Le Mée on Sunday will go ahead. AllezRedStar.com will be the first to bring you the news if there are any developments. If the match takes place, it will be officiated by Yann Billaux assisted by Luc Chevereau & Eric Wey RESERVES NEWS. The game Cosmo v Red Star reserves is still on at the time of writing. The game takes place on Sunday 27th February, 3-30pm CET at the Stade Jean Bouin, 111 rue de Montmorency, 95150 Taverny. Note that all the other Red Star games have been postponed. AUBERVILLIERS - MEAUX … more. Following the pre-match car-park brawl between players from Aubervilliers and Meaux, one of the Meaux players has just left the Pitié-Salpêtrière hospital in Paris. He still needs to have a plate put into his head, so sever was the attack. He probably will need to keep the plate in place for a very long time. David Morele, aged 25, will be called upon to give evidence in the enquiry into the attack.
STATEMENT FROM RED STAR FC 93. After the shambles last Sunday at Lusitanos, Red Star fans were quick to pass their comments on the AllezRedStar.com forum. Many criticised the team and some pointed the finger at the clubs' directors, asking if they really wanted to gain promotion to the CFA 2. On the forum, the clubs' directors took the opportunity to respond to these reactions. |

LUSITANOS SHAMBLES.
From all accounts Lusitanos fully merited their victory yesterday, outplaying Red Star in all departments. Although there are still several games remaining, this defeat means that Red Star probably need a miracle to have any chance of promotion from the DH. OTHER SCORES IN THE DH. Sannois lost 2-0 at home to Aubervilliers, whereas at Versailles it ended goalless against Brétigny. |

GIRARD RINGS THE CHANGES. Red Stars' coach Jean-Luc Girard has rested most of his regular first-team for tonight's Coupe de Paris tie at Stade Bauer against Drancy. Despite the changes, Red Star still have some experienced players in the side, including regular defenders Nabile Yessad, Youssouf Dao, Alhaji Baldé as well as regular subs bench-warmer Jérémy Budoc. Also in the squad are great prospects Aklouche, Béhiche and Chamma; cup specialist striker Philippe Marques as well as the vastly experienced Ahmed Hamdani. New faces to the sqaud are goalie Salifou Essomba Mama who injured himself prior to the start of the season, Ba, Ararouche, Loïc Ghili who made a subs appearance earlier this season and Tounkara, who also featured on a team sheet last season.
FREE ENTRY. Admission for tonights' game is free, so if you're in the area, why not pop along for the game ? Wrap up well, though, it promises to be bloody cold !
OFFICIALS. Tonights' match officials are Dominique Godefroy assisted by Benoît Danno and Pascale Godefroy. Pity that the first assistant referee wasn't the man in the center... then it might be possible to use the old Hawaii 5-0 line.... "Book him, Danno" |

SQUAD NAMED Jean-Luc Girard has named his squad for tomorrows' Coupe de Paris tie against Drancy, at Stade Bauer (8pm CET). Several first-team regulars are rested, giving the opportunity to shine to several young hopefuls: INCIDENT. Sundays' tie at Aubervilliers against Meaux was postponed, but not due to pitch conditions, as was initially thought. In fact before the game there was a bit of a punch-up between the two teams, in the stadium car park. Result - four injured including one Meaux player seriously. Not the end of the story, as the sanction risks to be heavy. Last season Meaux were involved in another incident with match officials, and only last weekend Cosmo and Arménienne were involved in some unpleasant scenes. JEAN-LUC GIRARD. Red Stars' coach was pleased with a deserved win, in difficult conditions. He went on to praise his full squad, including the ones left out or plying their trade in the reserves. RESULTS. Saint-Leu beat Mée Sports 2-1 and go back top. Meaux didn't play at Aubervilliers (see above) : Morangis-Chilly disposed of Arménienne 2-0 and Cosmo beat Lusitanos 3-1. Sannois Saint-Gratien beat Brétigny 2-1, whilst the Versailles recovery continues, beating Evry 4-1. |
