In the CFA, Croix de Savoie (as they were known then) beat Red Star 2-0 and gain promotion from the CFA to the National, 17th May 2008. See here :

Evian is the new name for Croix de Savoie (CFA) … whom Red Star met in 2007-2008, in the CFA … Red Star also met Thonon four times in the L 2 in the 1980s:
