FIRST XI:
Honours :
Coupe de France 1959
Champion de France de D 2 : 1938, 1959, 1985 et 1991

Le Havre is the oldest football clun in France and owes its existence to English workers in the shipyards in the town. The colours, dark & light blue were inspired by the colours of the two universities, Oxford & Cambridge. Currectly the first XI is languishing in the second division, after narrowly escaping the drop into the National last season. Le Havre are the only club to have won the French cup whilst playing in the second division (1959). Coached by Jean-Marc Nobilo, this season Le Havres' reserves will be made up mostly of youngsters from their impressive Academy. Last season Le Havre finished fourth in the CFA 2.
The reserves play at La Cavée Verte, where there is one reasonably-sized covered seated stand, and two massive sides of crumbling terracing, shades of the old Valley in Charlton before the rebuilding.
