Samuel Michel was also for a while first team coach at Niort (now assistant boss at Sedan). Denis Troch & Jacky Bonnevay played for Red Star as well as coaching the "Chamois".
Another famous Niort old boy is Lee Chapman, who played ten games for the club in 1988, scoring three goals in the clubs' only season in the top flight. Chapman went on to play for Nottingham Forest and Leeds United amongst others.
