Mathieu Gillet has quit Versailles to take up the role of player-coach at his former club ACBB.
This season Versailles have only won once at home, against Aubervilliers.
The stadium at Versailles is worth a visit, one of the best in the DH. The grandstand is magnificent, albeit a tad cold. The snack bar is friendly and has several old photos on display. Unfortunately the club has serious financial problems and only managed to avoid the drop from the DH last season on the very last day. This season the club aims to avoid the drop again. Disappointing, given the size of the population of the town. Whilst in the area, you could of course visit the other attractions on offer, the little castle in the town center ! Parking is a nightmare - you might have to walk, but failing that there are three railway stations in Versailles, all served by frequent trains on Sunday.
