DIVISION 2. Whilst Red Star 93 were disposing of Racing 2-1, Gueugnon beat Créteil 1-0, the goal being scored by ex-Red Star man David Fanzel.
PETITION. The former Red Stare players, re-united for the Centenary signed a petition demanding a return to a renovated Stade Bauer.

FORMER RED STAR PLAYERS. Stars from bygone eras met up again at the Stade Bauer for a reunion. From Loubière to Pintenat, Troch to Dantheny, Mahi to Guéniche, Massard to Giussepin, Fiatte to Laudu, many with souvenirs of their time at Red Star. Hubert Guéniche, now living in the Ivory Coast remembered his days on the wing, with the public breathing down his neck and the special atmosphere generated at Saint-Ouen. Christian Massard and Jean-Jacques Amorfini turned up on a motorbike, loyal to the last days of the Stade Bauer.
GRIPE. The event finished at half-past eleven, bitterly cold, so why did the snack bars shut at ten, so we couldn't even buy a hot drink ?

France Football this week, in their usual bid to fill column space with vague transfer rumours have speculated on the moves of Oponga and Saci to Saint-Etienne, hardly earth-shattering news, but have also linked Karim Fellahi with Le Havre. CFA 2. Red Star reserves make the short trip to Ivry, Paris and the Stade Clerville on Saturday, for a match kicking off at 6pm CET.

Last Friday, Beauvais - Clermont Foot was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, Besançon slumped at home to Pau. Martigues and Angers, also promotion candidates beat Pacy-sur-Eure and Paris FC.
Martigues are top with 49 points, ahead of Beauvais 48 (1 game in hand), Besançon 47, Angers 46...Red Star now 12th with 34 points having played two games less.

PITCH INVASION. At the final whistle, a security door was forced and the crowd swept onto the pitch, causing the players to scurry off. Some of the invaders decided to have a pop at the Lyon supporters and for five minutes battle raged on until broken up by the police. Red Star will no doubt cop a hefty fine for the trouble. Mind you, Lyon ain't no angels...

STADE DE MARVILLE. Stade Marville is in the Parc Départemental des Sports at La Courneuve, to the north of Paris, Avenue Roger-Salengro. On Saturday the gates open at 6-30pm CET, and a parking is available. For those travelling by public transport, bus number 150 runs until midnight, as well as the Tramway, which you can take and alight at the Six Routes stop, then ten minutes walk afterwards.

Red Stars' postponed match at Grenoble will take place next week, before a trip to Valenciennes on Saturday 11th.
